The heart of simplicity was laid on my heart some time ago. Through the years my life has gotten so cluttered with "stuff". I have had so much stuff that I have been able to give away complete wardrobes to other families and still have things left. My closet is sparcely filled these days and I don't have that yearning to fill it up. The heart of simplicity is beating in my life.
Growing up in a single parent family, clothes and many other things were hard to come by. My mom worked two jobs and sometimes more to provide for me and my sister. As soon as I turned 16, I started working and have been working ever since. I begin to buy my own clothes and learned early on all the responsibilities of life.
It's a fact that we all have responsibilities in life and they cannot be ignored, but we can simplify our lives and enjoy our families and friends a God intended. I invite you on this journey to find the heart of simplicty in your life.
